Emerson AMS System Engineer

Qatar is currently one the fastest growing markets in the World economy. With an economy based on high Oil Gas revenues and a solid investment policy from the Government the Qatari economy has continued to grow whilst the rest of the World struggled during the Credit Crunch.



Our client a leading Oil and Gas Exploration company is looking to recruit an Emerson AMS System Engineer with the following skills

Engineering graduate.

Minimum of 8 or more years of experience in Industry

Minimum 3 years of experience with Emerson AMS system.

Install the AMS device manager from scratch. Should be able to build the entire AMS network and system configuration. Perform system admin tasks like backups control username and privileges configurationmodification of device alerts. Work on the AMS system architecture and interface to DCS and other packages.

System upgrades and security patch management.

Maintain calibration schedules and reports. Perform calibration of devices using calibration assistant. Installremove devices.





The position is based in Qatar with successful candidates ideally starting in AugustSeptember 2014.
