CONSTRUCTION CLAIMS QUANTITY SURVEYORS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION STAFF

Hill International continues to grow in the Middle East because of our reputation for the highest quality contractual and dispute resolution services. As a result of the success of our current team in Qatar we are looking to double the number of staff we have in country to undertake present workload locally and build on the reputation we already have.



Applicants must possess the following attributes

• Western educated and trained with a relevant construction degree in Quantity Surveying Commercial Management or Engineering and ideally a secondary construction legal qualification plus memberships commensurate with the specialisation


• A minimum of 5 years post graduate construction industry experience as a Quantity surveyor or Contracts Administrator Manager


• Demonstrable experience of providing independent dispute resolution advice or working in a dispute resolution consultancy environment


• Demonstrable experience of researching analysing drafting and submitting your own quantum analysis reports in contentious matters


• Demonstrable ability of managing and leading client commissions plus teams of either client personnel or colleagues necessary to complete the task.

  • Applicants who have acted as Assistant to Expert or as Expert Witness in their own right would possess an advantage but give the current workload this is not an essential requirement
  
  
  • Demonstrable ability to secure fee earning work from clients either by repeat business from existing clients on converting new enquiries into work from your employer's or your own client network
    
    
    
    
    
    The successful applicants will be an integral part of an international team and will be given the opportunity of promoting the company's business and services worldwide in addition to having the option to help build and raise the Company's profile in the Middle East by attracting new work. In return you can benefit from a peer group which consists of over 400 claims practitioners that is Hill International Claims Group which can lead to either team and business management or us supporting your development as a leading authority in your own right.
