Experienced setting up and inspecting work to engineering specifications and work instructions





Experienced installing CNC programs understanding programming language entering offsets and executing minor program edits





Experienced using various metal finishing operations such as milling drilling tapping turning boring grinding and other surface finishing operations





Experienced safely operating a fork lift truck andor hand truckQualificationsRequirements

High school diploma GED





Minimum of 5 year manufacturing work experience operating CNC machines cutting metal tool selection speeds and feedsAdditional Eligibility Qualifications Desired Characteristics

Experience interpreting engineering drawings work orders and travelers

Experience using shop measuring instruments

Working knowledge of basic computer skills math and reading

Experienced following verbal instructions and written procedures

Working knowledge in use of overhead cranes

Experienced writing small CNC programs or subroutines

Experienced machining large complex tighttolerance components

Knowledge of lean SixSigma manufacturing principles GE employees only

Experienced operating fanuc machine controls

Experienced using SPC and GDampT
