CC Turbo Control System Engineer

. CCC Turbo control system Engineer Qatar 3 Year contract



Progressive Engineering requires an experienced CCC Turbo Control Systems Engineer to take up a position in Qatar.



Experience working in the GCC region is essential.



The start date for this position is 1st September 2014.



The client represented by Progressive is regarded as one of the largest and most prestigious in the Oil and Gas market in Qatar.



Successful candidates will have the following



Engineering graduate with Electronics or Instrumentation specialization.



Minimum of 8 or more years of experience in Industry preferably Oil and Gas

Industry.



Minimum 4 years of experience in Compressor Controls Corporation CCC

Systems.



Sound knowledge of Turbo machinery control architecture implementation and

troubleshooting.



Extensive experience on Surge and Performance Control system configuration

tools and applications such as Train Tools® Diagnostic Software's HMI Tools

etc.



Sound knowledge to Test and Tune the CCC Series 3 Plus Series 3 Series 5 Vanguard controllers Guardian overspeed protection system OSP including

machinery testing control loop tuning and troubleshooting



Shall have experience in supporting Compressor Startup ShutdownSurge

Tests for optimum performance of rotating equipments.



Shall provide expert solutions on Compressor Controls that assure more precise and efficient operation of entire LNG turbo machinery trains at Peak Loads.



Must have expertise on Multiloop controllers for ant surge speed extraction

performance fuel control. Also able to troubleshoot Serial communications

Modbus RTU with third party systems and OPC servers to CCC controllers of

all versions.



This role may have onshore and offshore elements where working in Qatar.
