. Job Purpose To contribute to the development of Emirates Group business strategy through identifying and designing leading edge innovative IT business solutions by anticipating the needs of the business and introducing new industry concepts and supporting technology. Envisage and develop and implement 35 years strategies for complex crossbusiness competencies identified across the Emirates Group which supports both the business and IT strategies. Drives best practice for business analysis and modelling to ensure quality requirements and solutions that are the right fit for the business and overall Emirates Group. Develops and continuously evolves Product strategy and roadmaps and ensures opportunity for future products are identified and delivered for external customers as well as Emirates Group. Emirates Group IT is building up a Solution Design unit reporting to the SVP Business Technology Solutions. The unit is aiming at working closely with all the business units within the Emirates Group to promote the use of Operations Research and Advanced Analyticsbased solutions e.g. resource management crew rostering irregular ops network planning revenue management business intelligence supply chain management business intelligence. The unit will consist of 2030 business analysts with a fairly strong OR and Analytics background and specialized in different airline domains. The analysts are tasked with identifying opportunities with the business units building requirements selecting and implementing such solutions.Their role may extend to helping with the use of the solutions to best deliver benefits to the business. The Senior Manager Solution Design – Decision Technologies is a leadership position within the IT organization at Emirates. Qualifications Experience Information Technology. Other 10 Years Degree or Honours 123 or equivalent IT Business Technology Solutions experience with recognised experience in a range of functions across IT in a Senior Management Executive Positions in a top tier travel or high technology corporation including recognised expertise within Industry forums Knowledgeskills BusinessIS Strategy and planning Relevant Skills based on competency Industry Business Technology Trends Business Domain Knowledge Business Process Improvement Business Enterprise Architecture Business Analysis skills Salary Benefits We offer an attractive taxfree salary paid in Dirhams the local currency of the UAE.
