Reporting to the Procurement Lead



Initially the role will be based in the UK but will eventually transition to the UAE for a period of 23 yrs.



Purpose of Job



Commodity Procurement activities and as such will develop skills associated with the Procurement activity including RFQ's negotiation order placement expediting supplier selection supplier management in a computerized ERP environment.

Engage with suppliers to identify and recommend cost reduction initiatives to provide lowest total cost and effective supply chain solutions



Main Responsibilities



bull Provide a proactive approach to supporting the procurement team on contingency analysis risk management market trends amp analysis and technology developments for commodity.

bull Drive KPIscorecard management for suppliers as required

bull Implement negotiate and manage supply agreements with key commodity suppliers

bull UK and some international travel may be required

bull Have responsibility for our own safety and that of fellow employees.

bull Time management and organisational skills

bull IT literate

bull Full UK driving licence

bull Integral knowledge of a key commodity that RTN UK procure



Education and Experience

bull Ideally Degree Qualified or equivalent

bull CIPS preferred

bull Experience within a procurement function

bull Working knowledge of ERPSAP essential

bull Knowledge of Contract Law
