This role will intially based within Glenrothes but will transition to UAE for the period 23 years





Summary of Role

Supporting a number of user sites this role involves leading a team in the purchase of commodity items supporting the bid and proposal process and leading value improvements within the Supply Chain function



Main Duties

• Sources negotiates and awards purchases for materials services.


• Lead supplier identification and engagement for new business pursuits.


• Responsible for Supply Chain bid amp proposal activities for strategic pursuits utilising proven source selection techniques cost amp price analyses identifying and managing supplier risk.


• Ensures that requirements prime contract quality terms and conditions are properly communicated to suppliers


• Continually review procurement processes tools and systems recommending


• process improvements where possible


• Engage with suppliers to identify and recommend cost reduction initiatives to


• provide lowest total cost effective supply chain solutions


• Manage supplier performance to cost schedule and quality requirements strong emphasis on driving continuous improvement via KPIscorecard management for preferred suppliers


• Have responsibility for our own health and safety and that of fellow employees.


• UK and international travel will be required
