Risk Manager

Job descriptionRisk Manager Hill International is seeking to employ a Risk Manager for one of its ongoing projects in Doha Qatar. DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Risk Manager shall be experienced in identifying risks to each project and to the program as a whole through a systematic approach and developing risk mitigation strategies that can be monitored and tracked throughout the life of the project. The risks may include technical financial contractual or program and may be as a result of internal issues or from external influences. The Employer's risk management process should be proactive to identify risk early in the project so that effective mitigation measures can be implemented immediately by the project teams. The individual will oversee the risk management process executed on each of the projects by all the participants including stakeholders Consultants suppliers contractors and operators . Project Risk Management Plan Implement the Risk Management Plan Ensure that project members know the Risk Management Plan. Keep the plan aligned with the current phase of the project. For risk identification and evaluation Provide support to the Risk Owners for the identification description estimation and evaluation of the risks. Organize risk identification brainstorming workshop sessions with all involved parties. Propose Risk Owners for approval by the Project Director. Support Risk Owners in their risk and opportunity evaluation processes. For risk control and monitoring Support the Risk Owners in the definition the implementation and the followup of risk mitigation plans. Submit risk control and monitoring plans to the Project Director for approval. Ensure that the approved risk reduction opportunity enhancement plans are integrated into the main project schedule and budget. Monitor progress on risk and opportunity status and associated control actions. Organize regular meetings to review the status of the establishing and implementation of the mitigating measures and their effectivenes.
