Technical Trainer Construction skills Concrete Properties

Our client is seeking applications from qualified tradesmen with strong experience in the Construction Industry. It is preferred that applicants have some experience training apprentices or trainees in construction skills preferably in a vocational setting and are interested in working in a Middle Eastern setting in a role that focuses on passing on their knowledge and experience.

Technical Program

The program objective is to a provide sufficient basic skills for trainees to enter the workforce of their sponsor and b continue into further study that will articulate into an overall twoyear diploma.

The Technical Trainers will deliver the foundation skills program in Trimester 1 covering construction mathematics engineering principles and workplace health and safety. In Trimester 2 the Technical Trainers will deliver an introductory workshop practice program to introduce trainees to a range of tools and equipment in their specific trade and develop their hands thinking and life skills. The curriculum and teaching student materials will be prepared by shareholder institutions.

Technical Trainers must have practical handson experience in the areas below

• Construction Health and Safety


• Constructional signaling and Construction power tools


• Excavations and safety


• Producing and erection of formwork


• Testing and sampling of concrete


• Concrete properties and the laying of concrete


• Rebar work construction of concrete supports


• Weld mesh and associated uses in construction


• Metal cutting construction site based machinery

  All candidates must be approved based on the criteria below before their appointment can be confirmed

  acirc128cent 5years practical handson experience in the construction industry

  
  

  acirc128cent Proven experience in training apprentices or trainees

  
  

  acirc128cent Candidates must have a tertiary i.e. post high school diploma associate degree or trade certificates or hold an equivalent relevant qualification i.e. degree qualifications not essential

  
  

  acirc128cent Prepared to relocate to Saudi on an unaccompanied basis due to limited family facilities and services in Jazan province

  
  

  acirc128cent Be able to provide at least 3 work referees that have monitored or supervised you in a role related to the technical instructor area being applied for.
