Senior RealTime Application Support Engineer Kuwait

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Lead implement and support Real time MIS solutions and standard MES Manufacturing Execution Systems through consulting project activities. Responsibilities include development support and enhancement of the Application systems. This includes implementing packagebased solutions and developing custom made systems through requirements analysis system designimplementation testing. Technical responsibilities include problem identification system architecture definition hardwaresoftware specification andor design implementation testing client training and solution deployment. Project management activities include interaction with company Contractor Consultant and client and develop the technical specification tender package vendor evaluation contract action financial responsibilities including project cost estimating proposal generation and assist in Contract execution.

Support and manage multiple Oil Gas upstream projects in the areas of Real Time Information Management Systems MES SCADA Maintenance Reliability Asset Performance management System Pipe line Information Management Integration with Corporate systems.

Provide advice and assistance to Operations and Projects Divisions in determining strategic decisions Identifies opportunities and requirements for improvements

Prepare purchase requisitions carries out technical evaluation of bids and negotiates withbidders.Vendor Prequalification Bidding Negotiation Selection Coordination schedules Contract Management.

Minimum Educational requirements

Bachelor Engineering degree in Electronics or equivalent discipline

Minimum Experience requirements

To be familiar exposed to Manufacturing Information Systems Execution Systems MES Upstream based operations suite of solutions

Experience knowledge of various Real time Information systems of AspenTech OSIPI Honeywell GE Invensys Matrikon etc.

Experience with various Pipeline Information management system GMIS PLDS etc.

Knowledge of various engineering modeling software like HYSYS UNISIM EPS PETEX products

Experience with project management including market study Prequalification procedures bidder evaluation tender doc preparation evaluation user coordination etc.

Experience in managing maintenance Support projects including preparation requirement budgeting etc. Experience in BP Review of FEED document SCOW.

vii Good communication skill to Communicate directly with users and project team during the design and execution Take responsibility for the total integrity of project and expansions.

viii Sound knowledge of upstream processes various software technologies practical experience of various DCS SCADA and interface systems.

ix Knowledge experience in Lab Information Management SystemsLIMS Reliability suite of solutions

x Fluency in innovative Management Visualization Dashboard solutions with strong Bl thinking

xi To analyze functional requirements and develop specifications for new information systems or enhancements to existing systems

xii To ensure compliance with established procedures and standards throughout all systems development enhancements or modifications

xiii To define and design the required interfaces between various applications to ensure availability and integrity of data

xiv To define security backup and recovery procedures for each system implemented

xv To plan and coordinate the installation of new releases and upgrades of information systems and ensure that the migration of database and programs are completed with minimal impact on business operations.

xvi To lead the evaluation and recommend new development tools standards and procedures to ensure the cost effective delivery of quality information services.

xvii To provide support and training to IT Help Desk staff to ensure that they are able to resolve simpler information system problems and that escalation procedures are properly implemented. xviii To ensure that the Company’s HSE Policy

xix To train and develop the assigned Kuwaiti Nationals.

xx Knowledge in VBASP DotNet ASP.NET Windows OS suite SQL 2K5 Oracle 10g BizTalk TIBCO Crystal Reporting Web Reporting Dashboard Tools etc.

d Other special requirements if any

i Good communication and interpersonal skills specially in English Education Required

ii Leadership able to manage multicultural workforce

c Minimum Experience requirements

i Minimum of 12 years of experience in ESRI GIS field.

ii Minimum of 6 years of experience in GIS software Application Development using Microsoft.Net framework ArcObjects GIS WebMapping development using Web ADF Silverlight and ArcGIS REST APIs.

iii Minimum of 5 years of experience in Team leadership project management
