Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Civil Engineer based in Dubai.

Job Description

Our client now requires a Senior Civil Engineer to provide expertise on multidisciplinary projects based in our Sharjah office UAE. Working in a multidisciplinary team of Engineers providing a professional design service to our clients this is a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer to gain additional and more technical exposure within an internationally renowned consultant.

• Civil Engineer shall report to company nominated Civil Lead as well as Project Manager and will be responsible for all technical issues related to civil Structural works


• Responsible to carry out detailed Engineering for CivilStructural works as per Project specifications and applicable International codes and standards to ensure these requirements are met with.


• Review of Vendor drawings and approve construction material.


• Responsible for implementation and use of Quality Control Documents Quality Manuals Quality Plans Procedures.


• Responsible for all technical review of documentsMethod Statementsdrawings related to CivilStructural works as per project specifications.


• Capable to instruct and supervise CADD designers.


• Responsible for coordination with interdisciplinary counterparts Client EPC Contractor as well as vendors.


• Site Visit as and when required.
  
  
  

  Skills amp Experience

  
  

  
  
  • Candidate should be BTechMTech in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  
  
  • Extensive experience in civilstructural works pertaining to Oil amp Gas projects involved in Tank Farms Gas processing plant refineries petrochemical etc. and experience in Analysis and design of concrete and steel structures using STAAD Pro.
  
  
  • Civil works pertaining to drainage system SurfaceUnder ground drainage earthworks site preparation site grading and paving Road amp Fence layout etc. Exposure to Architectural design works related to IndustrialPlant Buildings for Oil amp Gas projects is preferable.
  
  
  • Should have hands on experience in preparation CivilStructural Design BasisSpecification for Buildings as well as general civil works.
  
  
  • Preparation of drainage calculations for Storm water Sanitary Sewage Oily water sewer design of Sewerseptic tank sizing retention basin for Tank Farm projects.
  
  
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills and ability to selfcheck and produce accurate work
  
  
  • Should be well conversant with international codes amp standards such as ACI ANSI UBC or IBC ASTM BS amp API 650.
    
    
    

    This is a contract position.
