Head of HSE Qatari Nationals ONLY

An experienced Corporate HEAD of HSE is required to work on the delivery of a major project based in Qatar.nbsp



As the Corporate HSE HEAD you will be responsible for all HSE matters related to overseeing the execution of all stages of projects in compliance with the Companies HSE policies processes and procedures contract requirements and local HSE legislation.

The HSE HEAD will Manage direct and implement environmental health and safety initiatives and actively participates in the resolution of issues relating to the environment health and safety and You will have the ability to build strong relationships and influence others

You will have Keys skills such as

Strong understanding of environmental issues as responsibility for ensuring that all project related Environmental issues are dealt with strictly in accordance with good industry practice and local legislation including disposal of waste materials. High level of discretion and integrity.

Strong knowledge of International Industry andor Construction Safety Standards.

Experience in corporate management standards to ISO 14001OHSAS 18001.

As the HSE HEAD you will be able to demonstrate your understanding of development and implementation of safety procedures method statements risk assessments and other related legal HampS documents and you will be responsible for reviewing the development of site safety plans amp monitoring the team to ensure these documents are completed and updated as required

Management meetings with clients and contractors will be frequent so good communication skills are a must amp you will have the Ability to multitask maintain flexibility and work independently.

You will have solid experience in corporate audits and inspections to ensure compliance with site and company requirements and be able to maintain accurate contract HSE files for all correspondence and other related contractual documentation amp preparing reports.

The ideal candidate will come from a contracting background and has now move clientoperator side you must have a minimum of 15 years solid HSE Experience and experience within the Middle East is a must.
