He is responsible for leading a team of commercial managers and application engineers for Pumps Valves and Systems. Lead a team of commercial operation managers and application engineers and is accountable for New Units and Service Orders volume and related pricing profitability convertibility for a specific downstream product line focused on entire lifecycle management.



Report to the Downstream Products amp Services MEA Region Manager and to the Global product line ITO leader.



Meet order budget proposal timeliness VTW amp Quality cycle time hit Rate win Rate and project profitability.



Demonstrates accountability for functional business and broad company objectives. Lead the development of New Units amp Service proposals driving configuration timing quality and competitiveness to match customer CTQs. Integrates and develop processes that meet business amp regional needs across the organization. Involved in longterm planning. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas of expertise for a specific DTS product line.



Responsible for all aspects of contract management including proposal development risk management and mitigation specification compliance scope development transactional pricing customer negotiations customer communications and issue resolution for a specific DTS product line.



Lead the transactional deal process having the ability to structure creative commercially and technically sound quality deals to exceed Customers expectations and drastically increase win rate for a specific DTS product line.



Provide leadership and guidance during the deal review process to ensure that all technical risks mitigation and business risks acceptance levels are properly incorporated in the development of the scope cost and proposal wording to deliver safe and profitable contracts for a specific DTS product line.



Interface with the Region Sales teams to develop commercial strategies and solutions that will meet customer requirements as well as meet or exceed business goals.



Coordinate the output of proposals to insure the production schedule dates are met and that a quality proposal is issued to the customer.



Develop appropriate Terms and Conditions for standard Customer proposals based on Risk Reward Analysis.



Is responsible for the development of the team members and lead the long term strategy of local autonomous operations.QualificationsRequirements Acircmiddot Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

Commercial expertise in PVS

Acircmiddot At least 7 additional years of commercial experience with the ability to structure creative deals for customer solutions negotiate contracts and deal effectively with customersAdditional Eligibility Qualifications Desired Characteristics Acircmiddot Prior experience in sales commercial finance contract negotiation and execution is preferred Acircmiddot Strong business acumen Acircmiddot Knowledge of how transactions affect the business model both GE and customer Acircmiddot Knowledge of legal aspects and implications of contracts terms and conditions negotiation etc to allow constructing contracts with minimizing risk Acircmiddot Industry knowledge competitive landscape understanding at a transaction level Acircmiddot Ability to influence and lead cross functional teams Acircmiddot Six Sigma training is preferred Acircmiddot Strong oral and written communication skills Acircmiddot Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
