Job Description



Please Note Only candidates who are willing to work on a single status in Kuwait should apply for this role.

a Principal Duties and Responsibilities

i Serve as ORACLE expert for Planning optimize ORACLE solution design to align business requirements and strategies.

ii Drive continuous process improvements in the planning arena focusing on Advanced Planning Optimization APO

iii Educate key users on ORACLE capabilities and champion the use of standard ORACLE functionality reducing the need for workarounds and customization

iv Assessisasprocesses against potential to

v Act as liaison between business end users and remote central organization

vi Serve as IT team lead for Planning process enhancements

vii Elicit and document business requirements in terms of single business work flows detailed business rules detailed requirements and data needs.

viii Collaborate on Information Systems projects with business team and Information Systems staff to clarify business requirements answer questions and resolve problemsissues.

ix Obtain business approval of the documented requirements determine costbenefit and assist in prioritization.

x Work with internal stakeholders to develop user acceptance test objectives test plans and test scripts in order to verify that business requirements have been met.

xi Work with business functional team and the IT Project Manager to control project scope schedule and budget and ensure successful implementation.

xii Perform system tests and acceptance tests of Information Systems system changes.

xiii Develop and deliver training for the users of business applications to maximize and optimize the use of these systems enabling the organization to be more efficient and effective.

xiv Maintain a current understanding of the consumer package goods industry monitor new developments in technology educate organization and recommend appropriate new technologies and enhancements in Planning applications

xv Serve as Level 1 production support and maintenance for Production Scheduling and Optimization.

xvi Assist in detecting and diagnosing issues.

xvii Coach and train business process leads and key users

xviii Act as liaison between business end users and remote central organization

xix Act as liaison between endusers and software vendors for issue escalation and resolution if needed.

xx Develop reports and queries in support of planning processes and business team requirements

xxi Drive data quality improvements through enhanced processes for Production Scheduling.

xxii Solve all problems reported by user departments related to the existing Applications or the interface programs.

xxiii Liaise with user departments to determine details of modified requirements for the existing applications. Analyze proposed system and applications changes or additions and agree new information format and content with users.

xxiv Agree specification with user departments and prepare relevant System documentation.

xxv Document in detail all system changes.

xxvi Schedule control and work on system implementation and development. This includes training user staff in system operation and preparing user manuals.

xxvii Devise system test for application prior to go live.

xxviii Ensure that proposed new systems integrated fully with other live system and consider and recommend modifications and improvements as necessary.

xxix Provide technical advice and information to user departments on system developments.

xxx Ensure that systems are resilient by employing adequate security and recovery processes.

xxxi Control and ensure that all System documentation is in accordance with the

Company’s established standards and prac amendments made to the system once implemented are full recorded.

xxxii Carry out other related duties which are instructed by the Company.

xxxiii Develop his skills in any new tools or software which is related to the Oracle environment.

xxxiv Perform feasibility studies within specific Company areas analyzing manual systems and procedures in use within ERP solutions.

xxxv Coordinating with database administrators for more professional performance of the database.

xxxvi Perform feasibility studies within specific Company areas analyzing manual systems and procedures in use within departments and assess advantages to be gained from introducing a new solutions.

xxxvii Knowledge in Unix basics.

xxxviii Provide technical advice and information to user departments on system developments.

xxxix Participate in the Upgrade of applications environment .

xl Ensure that the systems are resilient by employing adequate security and recovery processes.

xli Control and ensure that all system documentation is in accordance with

Company’s established standards and prac

made to the system once implemented are fully recorded.

xlii Liaise with external vendors.

xliii Execute other related duties which are instructed by the Company.

xliv Coordinate with concerned departments groups to carry out system Health checks Quality Assurance.

b Minimum Educational requirements

University Master Degree in Computer Science Information Technology.

c Minimum Experience requirements 20 years of experience in IT

d Other special requirements

i 23 Lifecycle Implementation Support for ERP Systems i.e. Oracle

ii A minimum of five 5 years of ORACLE ERP System Support and Analysis experience .

iii Demonstrated ability as a Project Manager on an IT project with a working knowledge of the various project management tools.

iv Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization including the ability to communicate technical and business information to both technical and nontechnical people.

v Experience gathering requirements conducting business analysis and writing business specifications. Experience in developing test plans system testing and verification of results highly desirable.

vi Ability to document comprehensive functional requirements .

vii Experience with workflow and data collection systems is desired.

viii Proven track record on prioritizing and managing multiple projects concurrently.

ix Highly skilled at analysis design and development.

x Highly skilled at system development life cycle standards.

xi Highly skilled at system requirements specifications standards.

xii Shall have designeddevelopedproject managed more than 10 business applications.

xiii Good communication skills in English .

xiv Fluent in English Language

xv Shall be selfmotivated and upscale his technical knowledge continuously through further reading and courses organized by the Contractor.

xvi Highly skilled at Java Programming.

xvii Experience in OAF and ADF.

xviii Oracle Developer 2000 and Forms 4.5 Forms 6i

xix Proven skills as a team member team lead or Project Manager on at least one full cycle ERP implementation
