The Role You role as an Assistant English Language Professor will involve advising students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues.

As an Assistant English Language Professor you will also be involved in Preparation and delivering lectures and leading classroom discussions on topics such as English Language Literature with the relevant educational materials. Conducting college level courses in English. Instructing students on a variety of subjects including expository writing encompassing the creation organisation style and revision of writing research and documentation. Administering and grading examinations or as well as delegating this to others Pursuing continuous developments in English and English Literature by reading current literature talking with colleagues and participating in professional conferences. Assisting the English Language Professor in planning evaluating and revising curricula course content and course materials. Collaborating with colleagues to address teaching and research issues as well as initiating facilitating and moderating classroom discussions. Performing administrative duties and assisting head of department. Educational Qualifications The successful Assistant English Language Professor will Have a PhD in English Language from an internationally recognized University Excellent English Language Skills A high level of Computer Literacy Have a passion for teaching and diverse cultures Excellent communication skills Professional and confident approach in your abilities



Number of Years’ Experience Required The successful Assistant English Language Professor will You must have a minimum of 25 years’ college level teaching experience. Public school teaching experience is also required. Strong teaching and quality research potential would be helpful. An established research agenda and publication history preferred.
