Training Development Section Head

Job Purpose



Review training policies plans and programs and foster partnerships with training providers to ensure fulfilment of company and employee skill requirements and contribute to the employee motivation. Review performance appraisals and ensure that these are compliant with HR policies and promote employee professional development.



Accountabilities

•Review performance appraisal process and procedures and ensure performance appraisals and compliant with HR policies and promote employee professional development

•Foster communication channels to better provide formal and informal feedback that ensure highest levels of performance.

•Review evaluation of graduate training programs and learning initiatives against the needed capabilities and skills.

•Assess capabilities of training providers.

•Review training models and plans to better satisfy employees and corporate requirements if needed.

•Review training course materials and recommend changes if needed.

•Review the development of teaching aids and technologies being used.

•Monitor resource availability on a regular basis.

•Set annual budgets for training and development.

•Review Training Development expenditures on a regular basis.

•Develop companywide training and career development policies in line with company’s overall strategy.


Skills


Qualifications Experience Skills



•Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or related discipline.

•Professional qualification from CIPD or any equivalent CPP CTP PDS NVQs etc..

•Graduate Degree is a plus.

•9 years of experience with at least 3 years in organizational trainings.

•Proven experience in developing HR training strategies and policies preferably in steel industry or similar field in KSA.

•Expert knowledge of training and development performance management and career and succession planning philosophy theory and techniques.

•Strong communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

•In depth knowledge of human resource management best practices.

•Good planning organizing skills.
