Interpret review and coordinate with EPC Contractor on Design Basis Documents Concept design development Logic Studies Equipment Specifications and Industry Standards Equipment Data Sheets Inquiry and Purchase Requisitions Prebid Meetings Technical Bid Evaluations Preaward Meeting Kickoff meetings Vendor Data Review Shop inspections Witness Testing and Field evaluation. The Mechanical Engineer should have a comprehensive knowledge in the field of Materials Handling as it applies to application of equipment used in the various Industry segments noted. Shall be able to demonstrate experience and proficiency with various types of Materials Handling Equipment. Such experience must have been obtained while on projects with a Manufacturer or an Operating Company or from an Engineering Construction Company where concept design development procurement and technical evaluations have been executed by the respective candidate.

The Engineer shall have excellent English verbal and written communication skills and be adept at leading organizing and motivating the EPC engineers in meeting project deliverables. Candidate shall be proficient in the use of CAD design software and MS Office Software.

Engineers at this level are expected to be able to also function in a pure equipment engineer role. While the Candidate may not have all of the above described experience it is vitally important that the successful candidate have broad Materials Handling experience operating at a Senior Engineering level. Requires experience working with Conveyors stackers reclaimers feeders pneumatic conveyors bucket elevators freightpassenger elevators maintenance cranes and hoists loadingunloading arms and other miscellaneous materials handling related equipment.



This position will be assigned Saudi Arabia but may require business trips to various engineering offices.



Basic Job Requirements



The candidate shall as a minimum possess a Bachelor of Science Degree BS in Mechanical Engineering ME or other applicable equivalent International Professional Degree.

Candidate shall have a minimum of 15 years applicable and demonstrable experience in the various required attributes and qualifications listed below.
