UTC Aerospace Systems has a 45M Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility MRO in Dubai that is experiencing gt 20 YOY growth. This site provides regional service to its customers in the Middle East and Africa. The UTAS mission is to advance the performance safety and efficiency of commercial aviation and global defense.



The Dubai Site Leader is a key member of the Aircraft Systems' Worldwide Repair leadership team. The leader will be responsible for meeting or exceeding financial targets and performance goals as well as leading all aspects of the site's daytoday management.



Key Responsibilities



Responsible for leading and organizing the entire repair function utilizing ACE Process amp methodologies to achieve business goals such as Operational performances OTD amp TAT margin improvement inventory reduction increased customer satisfaction and safety.



Responsible for production activities material flow and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets production schedules and all requisite compliance Standards



Oversees multiple support functions in addition to operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the MRO.



Exercises judgment to make decisions in daytoday operation of facility and provides effective communication to IATA2 GM.



Champions the organization's culture and sets example for pursuing strategic vision.



Utilizes resources effectively and efficiently to meet or exceed organization goals.



Trains develops and evaluates subordinates to improve current performance and prepare for future positions within organization.



Responsible for all repair and overhaul performances within customer agreed or contracted turnaround times maintaining high quality standards and cost targets.



Responsible for new product information and implementing new capabilities setup including the study of new equipment requirements workflow processes and lay out of new repair lines and the impact on existing repair lines.



Manages budget for New Product Introduction and MRO Operations and ensures budget is met.



Oversee the compliance of repair standards and management of calibration and subprocesses to meet required standards of company and the authorities.



Develop implement and maintain a resource plan that ensures adequacy in employee numbers skill level ongoing training and personal development for all workshop and office employees.



Prepares and presents performance information to senior management utilizing financial metrics key performance indicators and objectivebased planning.



Ensures effective implementation of EHampS policies and satisfactory completion of risk assessments.

Complies with all safety and environmental regulations and works to create and promote a safe working environment.



Adheres to all UTAS amp UTC code of ethics and policies



Other duties as assigned.



Basic Qualifications

Academic Background



Bachelor's degree in business engineering or related field.



Master's degree in business or related field preferred



Skills Required



Demonstrated capability to resolve issues using factbased problem solving.



Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.



Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead crossfunctional teams.



Strong verbal and written skills.



Ability to multitask and work under pressure and deadlines.



Strong lean enterprise background experience and knowledge.



Must be able to work hours in excess of 40 per week.



Experience



At least 10 years related experience.



Must have experience leading others.



Ability to work effectively with technical employees and expatriates in a multicultural environment.



Experience in operations finance and commercial practices.



Preferred experience with SAP or similar ERP system



Aerospace experience strongly preferred
