This includes Ensuring that work carried out in the chemical Warehouse comply with regulations stipulated in the Poison Act and Company's HSSE regulations Be familiar with statutory requirements and HSSE regulations for import of chemicals and the safe disposal of toxic wastes Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheet MSDS all chemicals bought and used in the company Setting up a system that ensures for the safe storage and easy retrieval of materials and chemicals and its associated records in accordance with the Company's HSSE MS With Worksite operating team establish safe Warehouse operating procedures and ensure that materials and equipment received are properly operated in a safe manner Ensure good housekeeping security and safety practices are observed at all times Ensure forklift lorry pick up operation adhere to HSSE standards Ensure PTW and JOHAN are carried out in accordance with HSSE MS of the Company Ensure chemicals and catalyst are handled and stored safely taking into consideration their storage compatibility Act as a focal point for all matters related to HSSE at the Warehouse Coordinate for delivery of materials chemical and catalyst to plant areas. Ensure that current statutory legislation on importexport transportationshipment of dangerous goods safety storage customs and excise procedures and environmental requirements are adhered to at all times. Manage total performance of Warehouse operation in a safe manner. Any other work instructed by Worksite operating team Minimum Requirements Degree or Diploma in HSSE 8 years of experience in managing HSSE of Warehouse operations or any related onshore construction or maintenance field Experience in Behavioural and Process safety Desirable to have OSHA certified professional Good more...
