Position Description

Assembler

Primary Function

Performs assembly and disassembly of seals based on standard operating procedures including test compliance testing.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Responsibilities for maintaining safe workplace and comply with Flowserve applicable Safety Heath and Environment standards policy rules and procedures.

2. Report safety incidents unsafe conditions and or potential hazards.

3. Ensure proper housekeeping is done within the workstation and use tools and equipment safety.

4. Assembles seals based on Standard Operating Procedure or routine assembly and dismantling practices.

5. Requires the ability use of hand tools which may include various wrenches manual electric or air torque wrenches hoists scissor tables and Seals testing equipment to insure product meets quality requirements

6. Performs equipment changeover if required to assemble or dismantle seals for testing.

7. Responsible for seals quality making adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.

8. Operate within standard operating procedures SOPs and obey all safety requirements

9. Operate forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line or to move product to designated areas.

10. Complete daily production and seals specifications logs as required by supervisor.

11. Perform preventive maintenance PMs on production line machinery.
