Pulse International is looking for a Technologist II Histopathology for an exciting new healthcare project for women and children in Qatar.

Scheduled to open in 2015 the Sidra Medical and Research centre will offer the latest technology and equipment to meet worldclass standards in patient care medical education and biomedical research. There will be a sophisticated clinical and translational research programme general adult medical and surgical services and specialty care for women and children. The centre will be a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York.

Working with the Chief Technologist the Technologist II Histopathology assists in the commissioning of the relevant sections. This involves the commissioning of equipment IT systems recruitment onboarding and training of staff preparing policies and procedures in accordance with CAPISO15189 and JCI. The Technologist II Histopathology will be part of a team of Biomedical ScientistsTechnologists delivering high quality services in their specialty and will have operational oversight of a team within the department providing professional support in the area of specialty to the Chief Technologist

The successful candidate will be a registered Technologist with a Bacheloracirc128153s degree in Biomedical Sciences Clinical Laboratories or other relevant programme and experience in LIS operations. At least three yearsacirc128153 clinical experience in a western or Australasian academic medical centre is required.
