New Ventures Specialist

The client is an expanding exploration and production company with an international portfolio of assets in various regions. They are seeking an ambitious individual to join their Perth office with prospect and regional skills preferably with previous experience looking at the East Africa area.

The suitable New Ventures Specialist will come from a Geoscience Geophysical background and will have a good ability to technically interpret and work an area. They will also have a good understanding of the commercial side of the business.

Duties for this role will include

Studying New Venture and Exploration projects

Prospect and regional seismic interpretation

Occasional international travel

Focusing on the East Africa region etc

In order to complete these roles and responsibilities the New Ventures Specialist will already hold certain skills and experience

1015 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry

East Africa experience is preferable

University degree in a relevant discipline

Strong seismic interpretation skills

Solid commercial knowledge and understanding

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplined team.
