Construction Director ndash CCGT Power Plant Spencer Ogden

Reporting to the CEO of the Project the Construction Director will be responsible for ensuring the EPC Contractor executes the EPC Contract on time within budget in a HSE conscious manner and within all contractual requirements. The project is the construction of a large CCGT Power amp Desalination Plant.

Key requirements will focus on

Health Safety amp Environment

Managing related contracts with an emphasis on EPC and PWPA

Direct and manage the Owners Engineer team

Budget management

Communication and document control with the EPC contractor and other stakeholders

Project scheduling

Design reviews

Supervise construction and commissioning

Detailed reporting

Candidates for this position must have a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Degree ideally supported with a HSE qualification. 10 years39 experience in the construction commissioning or operations and maintenance of large CCGT power plants is essential. Direct experience in contract and budget management is essential.
