Our client is a leading Construction Cost Consultants who have won a prestigious Airport construction project in Dubai.

They are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to manage a commercial team and its operations based in Dubai.

The successful Commercial Manager will be responsible for the following

• Lead a team of quantity surveyors on a major Airport equipment refurbishment project


• Working under FIDIC conditions managing the Commercial Operations of the contract
  
  
  
  
  • Effectively managing the resources of projects lifecycle in order to ensure it achieves success of the project outcome and maximises profit
  
  
  • Provide planning provision and monitoring of commercial support and assurance to the Project Managers and the project delivery team.
  
  
  • Identify manage reduce and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activities
  
  
  • Maximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations submission of invoices and receipt of payment
  
  
  • Maintain a high level understanding of planning and programming to ensure accurate progress reporting.
    
    
    

    Work with supply chain to promote and measure continuous improvement in terms of cost quality and learning of all parties

    
    

    The successful Commercial Manager will have the following background.
