AREA SALES MANAGER Leading Manufacturing Company SAUDI NATIONALS ONLY
Our client is a leading Manufacturing and Distribution company with a strong reputation in the region.
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to be based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia
JOB OVERVIEW
To maximise the generation of profitable sales within designated geographical area of all products across all market segments Commercial Industrial and Distributers Traders excluding Key Accounts while delivering the high levels of customer satisfaction in a cost effective manner.
Reports to Sales GM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Improving customer service and loyalty by following up on orders and visiting customers to understand their specific needs and support the salesorder process.
•Maximising profitability of sales through the Area and market share personally negotiating the price of certain orders with potential customers within agreed margins.
•Actively increasing the number of sales leads beyond the usual daily enquiries for the sales team by utilising market contacts and external newsmedia sources.
•Enhancing the brand positioning it strongly as a supplier of choice within a highly competitive marketplace by ‘selling’ its proposition on quality value and service.
•To maximise the profitability for the area by taking responsibility for all sales targets and area costs and leading the team by example.
•To make the most profitable return by ensuring that quotation prices maximise profit contribution and personally participating in and supporting the negotiation of prices and contract terms within agreed levels
•To develop and monitor the achievement of sales targets for each product sector within the area local industrial commercial distribution traders
•To identify new opportunities for sales growth by working closely with the Marketing Executive Approvals to identify new potential customers emerging product requirements.
•To minimise the time taken from a first stage agreement in principle proposal to a second stage detailed technical specification by building a successful working relationship with Technical team.
•To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and increased loyalty by arranging prompt technical and expert support and advice throughout the sales cycle helping to identify the most costeffective solutions ensuring ontime delivery and providing prompt support to resolve technical issues and difficulties.
•To signoff the shipping release authority by ensuring that staff have checked customer payment status
•To minimise overdue payments by monitoring customer receivables and ensure all outstanding amounts are chased.
•To enhance the productivity and focus of the Sales Managers Sales Engineers by holding an Area sales team meetings each week and discussing key targets opportunities and outcomes.
•To manage and develop the capability of team members evaluating and reporting progress each halfyear in line with the company’s Performance Management processes.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
•Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance
•As a guideline between 15k 23k SAR per month 4875k USD per annum 25 Housing
Skills
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelors Degree in Engineering required
•At least 5 years minimum building materials electrical equipment cables sales experience
•At least 5 years minimum Sales Management experience in a smaller brancharea and 3 years in larger brancharea
•Experience managing a team of over 5 people
•Previous experience being responsible for an annual sales target
•Open to Saudi Nationals only
