Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company SABCO has worked as the management services contractor directly with our client the Saudi Arabian Royal Commission for the last 30 years. We are the Engineering Procurement and Construction EPC managers managing design submissions from local AE firms contract and procurement management and overseeing the actual construction work being performed by local contractors and subcontractors in Jubail Industrial City.



Projects we are actively involved with in Jubail include new residential communities petrochemical industrial zone site preparation various commercial buildings and structures mosques schools hospitals sports facilities clinics a new 30000 student university utility services and infrastructure electrical substations lift stations roads and highways port amp pipeline expansions and more.



Position DutiesResponsibilities

bull Maintain project safety awareness and enforce company safety policy.

bull Monitor contractor Quality Control Program. Facilitate coordination of contractor's work with third parties i.e. utility agencies or other public agencies.

bull Review contractor's technical submittals and verifies the compliance upon material delivery at site. Respond to contractors technical queries and coordinate with Engineering Department and PFE on technical issues.

bull Fully responsible for the quantities of the contract. Supervise quantity reporting.

bull Monitor contractor schedule and ensure that contract progress and cash flow milestone is met. Coordinate with Contracts Supervisor prepare daily report for each contract with the brief description of activities supported by the quantities executed that day.

bull Review and verifies contractor's monthly invoices. Review as Built drawings and OampM manuals. Evaluate construction material testing results.

bull Provide technical support to the preparation of Field Change Requests and Change Orders. Participate in construction progress meetings.

bull Review engineering design packages for constructability issues and lessons learned.

bull Participate in final inspection and leads the documentation like OampM manuals as built drawings punch list and final quantity at initial acceptance

Skills amp Experience

bull University Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering with significant field construction experience.

bull Work experience required in site preparation and site development reinforced concrete construction related to heavy industrialcivil structures such as highways amp roads works underground utilities flexible pavements water treatment and structural steel erection on industrial projects.

bull Review contractor's proposed design and shop drawings.

bull Hands on experience in calculating quantities.

bull Good written and spoken communication skills in English are required.

bull A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word AutoCAD Excel and Primavera is important.
