Director Public amp Private Sector Support Middle East North Africa South Asia

Job Description Position Summary



Teach For All is seeking a Director Public Private Sector Support PPS internally referred to a as a Regional Director who will work with Teach For All partners and earlystage entrepreneurs across the Middle East North Africa South Asia MENASA region. Regional Directors are members of the PPS team and serve as a resource to CEOs and local staff of Teach For All’s countries as they seek to build the private and public sector support necessary to either launch and scale their organizations. The objective of this role is both setting and managing to the regional vision in public and private sector support and driving progress against network impact indicators and partner satisfaction in this area regionally by both supporting partner staff directly in their work and coaching them and sharing resources. This position provides an individual with strong leadership analytical communication and interpersonal skills the opportunity to serve as a key contributor to the success of organizations in the Teach For All network. This person will report to the Senior Director Public Private Sector Support.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to



Leveraging Teach For All’s for areas of core competence to help regional partners meet their public and private sector support PPS impact goals

Knowledge and thought partnership lead on capturing bestpromising practices from the region and knowledge sharing and thought partnership with network staff PE and early stage entrepreneurs in this region

Serving as a strategic thought partner to the Teach For All Partner Engagement team and local participant and alumni impact staff in the region as they design and execute their own PPS strategies and reach or surpass their placement and development goals

Identifying and developing effective ways to share PPS experiences and best practices within the region as they emerge from across the network

Providing support to early stage entrepreneurs and partners in this region to reach or surpass their placement and development goals in collaboration with GSD

Highimpact direct connections facilitate highimpact direct connections among network staff working in PPS in this region

Access to Global resources support the sharing of global resources with network staff working in PPS in this region in close collaboration with the Director Global Knowledge and Resources PPS

Leadership development support the leadership development of participants alumni and staff regionally by working directly with these groups

In addition to doing the above within the region this role will also be called upon to support these areas globally where appropriate e.g. leading on knowledge development in a particular area running a conference for global participants and to support the overall direction of the team

Creating in partnership with the Senior Directors of Public and Private Sector Support Growth Strategy and Development and Partner Engagement a long term regional strategic vision and plan for the public and private sector support ne more...
