Our Client based in Kristiansund and Trondheim is one of the lead suppliers of services within maintenance and modifications in the oil and gas industry. In addition delivers early stage studies for development of existing oil and gas fields.



We are looking for Discipline Responsible Engineer Technical Safety for a 1 year contract.

Responsibilities and tasks



Active fire protection be able to perform firewater hydraulic simulations PIPENET

Passive fire protection study the need and be able to perform fire integrity calculations

Process safety sectionalisation

Explosion protection

Escape evacuation and rescue

Fire amp Gas detection

Ignition source control and area classification

Emergency Shutdown Philosophy

SIL analyses

LOPA analyses

HAZID chairman

Qualifications amp personal attributes



Good communication skills. Be willing to transfer experience and knowledge to junior safety engineers. The candidates must be familiar with

Requirements in Norwegian PSA HSE Regulations

NFPA Codes for active fire protection systems e.g. Deluge amp water Mist

ISO 13702 amp NORSOK S001

IEC 6150861511 and OLF GL 070.

IP Part 15 and other relevant codes for area classifications

ATEX Directive

ScandPower Guidelines for Protection of Pressurized Equipment

Quantitative risk analysis QRA fire and explosion theory
