Safety Officer Onshore Qatar Fircroft

Our client one of the world39s largest Oil amp Gas Operating Companies are looking to appoint a Safety Officer to work with their team in Qatar. The successful candidate will provide on site support to the on site drilling organisation so the role will be split approx 5050 field and office based.







Key responsibilities



Supporting the onshore drilling team by visiting drilling and workover rigs rigless activities and drilling workshops.



Implementing and Monitoring drilling department and corporate HSE procedures.



Reporting on any major safety issues identified at work locations.



Assist with the annual management HSE inspection programme and HSE audits.



Accident incident investigation.



Assist in the monitoring of all HSE compliance.



Participate in the review and follow up to HSE KPI reporting.



Update and manage HSE Manuals.



Assist with and participate in all HSE initiatives and programmes.







Key skills attributes



Degree qualification and recognised Industry Safety Diploma



Minimum of 8 years HSE experience from drilling related activities



A good working knowledge of HSE management systems and auditing



Excellent communication skills at all levels.



Fully versed in the latest international codes and regulations such as IMO ISO9001 ISO14001 and OHSAS18001
