To act as Senior Drilling Engineer based in Gabon with a focus on both onshore offshore operations.

Job Description Duties amp Responsibilities to include

Primary Drilling focal point with GampG Exploitation Production Operations amp Development for the relevant assets.

Key member of Project team PDP as defined.

Support Phase Leader or act as phase leader PDP as defined.

Responsible for Drilling input to new and existing development scopes.

Responsible for proposing well concepts and feasibility studies and subsequent developmentdelivery. Including assessing new technology and innovative solutions.

Responsible for detailed well design including compliance with PampP and Well Examination.

Responsible of all drilling documentation including but not limited to BOD AFE Programmes EOWR PDP deliverables and legislative appropriate to WA.

Responsible for all post well reporting and lessons including but not limited to EOWR AAR and Lessons Learned.

Preparation and maintenance of well budgets schedules AFE and daily costing in line with operations and planning schedule.

Obtain necessary formal approvals both internal and external prior to commencement of work.

Responsible for drilling input to contract strategies. Subsequently responsible for scopes of work ITT preparation and tender evaluation technical with input to commercial evaluation and recommendation to award for all drilling related contracts.

Liaise with vendors suppliers and service providers as necessary.

Act as Drilling focal point for various contracts and ensure contractual compliance is maintained by vendors suppliers and service providers.

Key member of the operational drilling team as technical lead alongside the incountry Drilling Superintendent Operational Lead. Including but not limited to direct involvement in daily drilling activities providing technical guidance and providing input to operations as appropriate.

Provide support costs concepts timings for Business Development with regard to Acquisitions and Disposals

Participate in management and development of the DampC department through involvement in improvement of processes procedures and systems.

Provide Peer Review and Operational support as required to other Projects.

Act as coach and mentor for Junior Engineers

Health amp Safety responsibilities

Ensure that service providers adhere to Safety Health and Environmental policies practices and procedures

Ensure that all drilling activities are planned and executed in accordance with Company and country legislative requirements.

Ensure the SHE culture and existing systems are implemented and maintained on the project

Monitors and review SHE performance of key contractors and sub contractors and implementation of action plans. Coordinating third party contractor activities to ensure SHE to ensure overall compliance with Annual SHE Programme and Targets.

Ensuring Simultaneous Operations Plans are in place as required and adhered to
