Sales Engineer Drilling Schlumberger

Job Description



The Sales Engineer provides pre and postsale support for drilling products and services offered by Schlumberger Information Solutions SIS demonstrating the relative merits of the technology and articulating the value proposition to the customer.

Successful Sales Engineers are excellent communicators enjoy solving problems and work well in teams.

This position reports to the SIS Drilling Business Manager.



Responsibilities

• Understands customer objectives and assesses how SIS technologies and services can help achieve them.


• Assesses and reports on business development opportunities associated with SIS drilling domain products and services and works closely with the SIS team to plan business development.


• Contributes to drilling software development plans and priorities and mentor peers and junior staff.
  
  
  

  
  
  Qualifications

  
  

  
  
  • Masters of Science degree in petroleum engineering mechanical engineering or similar field.
  
  
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a drilling engineer wellsite data engineer or similar position.
  
  
  • Good understanding of planning and drilling operations particularly for well control.
  
  
  • Fluency in English language both verbal and written.
