Project Director Metro Tunnels

Seeking a Project Director to join a major consulting engineering business for tunnelling and metro works in Qatar. Manager will be tasked with managing and supporting the contractors office for a major metro Tunnel Project in Qatar particularly with detailed design and verification. Role will be a lead in design works and mentoring the contractor group in their review and delivery of the project. Will communicate with the client regarding their specifications and ensure all works are in line with the project outline. Must have experience internationally in working with large scale projects in Rail and transportation. Experience with a mixture of design activities and tunnelling methods will also be key TBM soft ground bored tunnels cut and cover underground structures and EPB will be useful skills. Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering qualification and a proven track record in design of tunnels modelling and linings. The role is a long term project based position offering a senior leadership role within the business.
