IMG Reports to Senior Project Controls Manager

Position Summary Maintain planning for Integrated Projects to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and at budget. Assist in development of initial overall project schedule with the Project Management Team. Oversee the maintenance of the project plan schedulecost performance analysis and preparation of lookahead punch listsplans. To develop manage and mentor the planning team.

Essential Duties Responsibilities

• Follows and complies with company project and Project Controls Department procedures and techniques.

• Actively manages the planning team in region

• Manages regional planning efforts and coordinates assignment of planner to projects

• Actively monitors the cost performance for individual projects.

• Maintains the project schedule using the full capabilities of Microsoft® Project andor Primavera P6.

• Actively trains planning staff

• Be able to develop a delayimpact analysis and mentor other planners in this facet.

• Leads in the development of the baseline schedule and supports Project Manager PM in Integrated Baseline Review IBR.

• Maintains change management process and ensures Performance Measurement Baseline PMB including Contract Budget Log CBL and the baseline schedule is uptodate and all approved external and internal changes are incorporated according to Change Management procedure.

• Develops planning procedures in junction with SPCM.

• Collects actual data updates project schedule and comes up with reliable schedule forecast with support from project team. Contributes to company statistical analysis of production rates and other scheduling dictionaries.

• Manage and develop What if scenarios

• Monitors the status of programsprojects as related to project status ensuring that baseline schedule milestones are achieved. Identifies slippages and reasons and communicates them effectively to Senior Management. Continuously develops scenario analysis and recovery plans in case of slippage to meet the target completion date using Critical Path Method CPM and other techniques. Is a direct party to execution of recovery action plans.

• Reviews contract specifications works with PM to identify risks or gaps in the Project Plan and support PM in the development and implementation of Risk Management Plan.

• Active member in a crossfunctional team internal and external to Engineering and Operations resolving issues establishing and communicating projectprogram schedules objective priorities and targets.

• Provides reports on project established metrics including Earned Value EV analysis i.e. schedulecost variance progress report resource allocation analysis etc. on a regular basis. Responsible for communicating project controls data from project to the head office.

• Actively manages the regional schedule information is accurately reported into the Monthly Project Review Meetings.

• Supports all planners in developing and reporting accurate SPICPI index's

• Supports PM on maintaining project management documentation Project Management Plan PMP Risk Management Plan RMP Scope of Works SOW WBS Dictionary Responsibility Assignment Matrix RAM etc..

• Manage front end user permissions as a Primavera Super user.

• Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner.

• Works autonomously without direct supervision.

• Requires travels to the various Project sites up to 50.

• Can be assigned to work on a specific project assignment.

Preferred EducationExperience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a fouryear accredited college or university.

• 15 years experience in related positions.

• Ability to manage a group of up to 12 planners

• Experience with gas compression and processing equipment desirable.

• Experienced in developing logical sequencing of work.

• Basic construction knowledge and installation process required.

• Full fluency in English is required.

• MS Office Excel and Word and product competency required.

• Primavera P6 and MS Project knowledge required.

• Knowledge of EVMS methodology is required.

• Second language desired.

• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
