Island ERD Completions and Workover Engineer AUH

1.The Island ERD Completions and Workover Engineer is responsible for the timely design preparation and implementation of each ERD well completion workover and stimulation program on the artificial islands. Responsibilities also include special projects related to island operations.

2.Prepares full ERD completion workover and stimulation programs. Works closely with other groups to assure the programs are based on all available information from nearby wells. The ERD completion workover and stimulation programs must include but are not limited to the following

•Application of standard operations procedures best ERD practices and lessons learned.

•Progress time and cost charts for the Completion or Workover phase

•Decompletion program well killing tubing and packer pulling plug setting for workover

•Christmas tree tubing and downhole completion equipment to meet expected conditions and well integrity requires for the Islands

•Coiled tubing applications and mitigations including tractors specifically for ERD wells

•Stimulation program in combination with the ERD Coil Tubing applications

•Completions fluids program

•Well testing program compatible with the Island design and requirements

•Well evaluation program including wireline logging in ERD wells with tractors

•Perforating program on tubing as per ERD requirements

•ICD sizing and placing program

3.Ensures that Company HSE policies procedures regulations and objectives are effectively implemented.

4.Prepares cost estimates and AFE’s for completions and workovers.

5.Participates as completion and workover representative in the Well Delivery Process WDP

6.Interacts with asset teams during ERD well planning execution and postcompletion amp workover reviews.

7.Provides technical support to Island wellwork execution team during wellwork operations and participates in morning teleconferences with the rig and prepares and presents operations summaries.

8.Provides rig site technical assistance to the ERD Completion and Workover Supervisors during critical operations as required

9.Trouble shoots operational and technical completion and workover problems.

10.Supervises makeup amp testing of completion subassemblies in coordination with all concerned parties.

11.Conducts followup assessments of completion equipment selection and application.

12.Provides annual completion equipment and materials technical specifications amp quantity requirements as requested.

13.Maintains close liaison with services companies’ engineers and keeps abreast of recent developments in the area of well completion technology equipment practices etc. Conducts studies on adaptability of such technology to ZADCO ERD operations and makes appropriate recommendations.

14.Analyzes completion or workover performance and recommends changes in procedures and equipment based on findings.

15.Participates in industry organizations such as SPE API andor IADC.

المهارات

1.Degree in relevant Engineering discipline such as Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.

2.Minimum five years’ experience and knowledge of completion and workover engineering functions.

3.Minimum three years’ experience in ERD work related to completion and workover activities Desired

4.Computing skills including MS Office

5.Knowledge of Drilling Information Management System DIMS

6.Safety training

7.Subsurface Engineering School or completions seminars Completions and Workovers

8.Valid internationally recognized certificate in well control either IADC or IWCF

9.Skills including

•Same base skills as Island Drilling ERD Engineer Desired

•Tubing Design including movement calculations

•Basic Completion Fluids Technology

•Basic Cementing Technology

•Pore Pressure and Fracture Gradient Technology

•Well Control Equipment and Procedures
