CIVIL WORKS SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBILITY

• Engineer with experience in the construction of civil works for large size Plants and Power Plant systems eligible for the direction and control of civil Contractors.


• Must have strong skills to understand the engineering solutions of the design engineer as well as the drawings technical specifications and documents derived therefrom.


• Must have written skills to work out reports and status reports to fill in forms and to suggest technical solutions to the problems arising out of the works construction.


• Must have skills to survey the extent of the works being carried out and to define plans for their execution.


• Must assess the availability of materials drawings and necessary equipment at the works commencement.


• Responsible for the auxiliary activities in the frame of maintenance and erection of scaffolding lifting and transporting equipment.


• Must report to the Construction Manager as to the performed works.

  • Have a University Degree or a technical high school degree or strong technical background
  
  
  • Must be South African national. Fluent in English amp South African local languages written and colloquial Knowledge of Italian language would be an added advantage. Strong oral and written communication skills
