Job Specification Job Summary The primary purpose of Radio-chemist position is responsible for manufacturing and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) undergoing clinical and preclinical research protocols. Accountabilities: 1. Demonstrates knowledge and application of the mission, vision and values. 2. Develop, Maintain and administer standard operating procedures (SOP) for all Laboratory operations. 3. Check the quality of raw materials for use in manufacturing and testing. Store all materials according to the standard operating procedurE(SOP) and maintain materials specification book. 4. In Charge of releasing products for distribution and patient administration. 5. Assure quality products using established specifications. 6. Administer the Installation Qualification Operational Qualification Performance Qualification (IQOQPQ) system. 7. Operates, maintains, calibrates automated, semi-automated radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and quality control equipment, and performs equipment and process validation. 8. Maintain production testing batch and raw materials records. 9. Act as the radiation safety officer for the Cyclotron facility (on-call service). 10. Administer GMP program for the Cyclotron Facility. 11. Authorize the release of the product for patient use. 12. Complies with policies and procedures, and in particular infection control safety, and quality management. 13. Performs other duties as requested
