Market Linkages Officer

Responsible for assisting FMF clients with opening up channels either vertically or horizontally, with different players in the creation of the goods they produce. Planning, organization and marketing for local events “bazaars” that helps The Business Development Services to generate income and also increases the business opportunities for our clients. The Business linkage specialist will also develop an organized market linkages plan that connects pre-identified buyers to FMF clients; make contact with appropriate buyers from each participating supplier; suggest specific technical assistance strategy for concluding some business deals that can be sustained over time, plan for developing industry clusters organically, Facilitate linkages between traders and clients, link producers to new market opportunities, build the capacity of FMF clients to fully understand the advantages of using linkages, work with FMF clients to create new and/or diversified market linkages, train FMF clients to better understand and analyze their markets, collaborate and maintain relationships with the private sector to facilitate, assist with the development of exhibitions for FMF clients, assess, prepare, implement and monitor strategies to strengthen the client’s markets.
