Performance Monitoring engineer

SKY is hiring for multinational company Performance monitoring engineer. Job Responsibilities: • Monitor the 2G, 3G and Transmission network KPI’s and analyze them in case of any degradation or abnormality found for Ericsson(BSC/RNC/BTS/Node B , TN, ADM and SPO) and (ZTE nodes to be identified). • Making basic troubleshooting in order to solve the problem (as long as it is in team scope). • Pre-agreed process of escalation in case the detected problem is not solved.(Performance monitoring engineer shall issue and assign TT to concerned party through TTs System relevant to appeared symptoms on network element across all network domains) • Benchmarking reports to compare network status before and after CRs implementations. • Event’s handling: Monitoring the network KPIs in event’s times (e.g Eid event, Holidays, weekends and etc.) • Performing first level troubleshooting on the 2G, 3G and Transmission Network with in Etisalat Managed Service. • Responsible for daily and weekly health checks. • Responsible for generating daily operational reports. Job requirements: • Appropriate degree/diploma in Telecommunications. • At least 2 years of experience in the Telecom Industry. • Excellent knowledge and understanding of GSM & WCDMA. • Deep understanding of Air interface, logical and physical channels • Deep understanding of 2G/3G Network Performance KPIs and correlation between them. • Excellent knowledge of Business object, Sonar and RPMO tools • Good knowledge of ZTE Net Numen. • Good knowledge of SQL programming • Good knowledge of building and Customizing Business object reports. • Excellent knowledge of Google Maps and Google layers • Good knowledge of IPTNMS and SEOM tools • Good knowledge of MOSHELL & command handling for 1st level troubleshooting.
