Our client one of the leading information and communication technology enabled M2M automation and control solution providers is currently recruiting for a Data Centre Operations Manager.
Job description
To operate and manage a Tier III uptime for Design amp Facility amp ISO27001 certified world class datacenter campus. Work with the General Manager in leading all aspects of datacenter operations according to its strategic direction and growth objectives.
Principal Accountabilities Key Result Areas
• Oversee a team of 50 onsite and remote staff supporting a Tier III data center enterprise
• Manage data center physical infrastructure engineering and design
• Manage data center capacity planning and expansion project management
• Oversee DCM software featurefunctionality management and user support
• Play a leadership role in setting data center vision mission and strategy for onpremise data centers as well as colocation data centers
• Manage data center operational teams and lead efforts to develop and mature data center operational processes following ITIL best practices Data center infrastructure remediation change and project management Data center serverstorage change management
• Create and maintain data center capacity and status dashboards
• Create distribute and present executive communications related to data center vision mission and strategies and progress against strategies
• Create and manage against quarterly annual and 3 year data center budgets
