Overview of Role
Monitoring amp control coordinations internalexternal reporting risk assessment for all construction activities in the Integrated Security Systems Project.
RolesTasks and Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for all construction support activities in the project
• Answerable to the Operations for all site activities
• Responsible for checking and preparing site reports in weekly and daily basis as per Thales standard or client requirement
• Manage budget of resources manpower and materials
• Managingresponding any risk and dependencies on site by coordinating Internal Thales and Consortiums
• Work with the Contracts Manager to coordinate and control the subcontractors on the site provide appropriate information concerning additional requirements and handle any problems which may arise
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all the trades and disciplines involved on the site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction program and the quality and cost standards required by Thales
• Monitor site progress including installation of required equipment against accepted programmed and24 weeks look ahead schedule. Make recommendations where extra resource or alternative work processes are required to maintain or increase performance
• Building a strong team by motivating guiding the workforce and developing direct reports
• Providing resources to site manager or supervisor to ensure objectives are achieved
• Ensure the quantities of completed work items are agreed with client and aligned with engineering drawing as well as the BOQ
• Ensure maintenance of daily records of all site activities including information on labors and plantsites and any noncompliant materials or workmanship
• Identify problematic design issues and make recommendations that support engineering procedure as well as ensure the construction schedule is maintained
• Ensure Health and Safety requirements are adhered on site at all times in accordance with laid down company procedures as well as the provisions of Health and Safety legislation.
