Reed's Specialist Recruitment chemical and petrochemical distributor client is looking for a Product Specialist in Doha Qatar. It is an exciting job opportunity at one of the most widely known local distributor company and a chance to be part of a growing organization.




As a Product Specialist you will assist the Product Manager to analyze and develop the appropriate marketing strategies. You will be responsible for building an Operational Plan linking Strategies into the plan managing the Customer Satisfaction Program and ensuring the feedback is used to improve product quality diversify range improve product packaging better logistics etc. You will also manage activities related to Research amp Analysis either Economic or Commercial and develop the Marketing strategy for various regions. You will be responsible for advising on the existing amp potential international market for Polymers based on latest data and exploring new avenues for business growth and propose these to Product Manager.




Responsibilities




• Propose Global Marketing amp Sales Strategies related to gaining more market share and also work on alternate strategies focus on creating ‘core strategies’ amp also ‘backup plans’.

• Actively participate amp contribute in creating the Marketing Strategy document 5 years horizon and also the Operational Planning amp Strategy 1 to 2 years horizon documents.

• Contribute and participate with the Product Manager in the implementation of the marketing strategy amp also in various initiatives linked to this implementation.

• Create adhoc amp also Planned Reports Researches studies Intelligence gathering based on needs of the management.

• Provide critical pricing inputs and insights into important price trends and market trends anything that would directly or indirectly impact margins.

• Undertake various market researches to gain insights into prevailing market conditions and envisage important future trends.

• Provide regular updates based on the latest pricing trends circulate the same to defined list of recipients.

• Work upon key inputs from research amp also from the Global Marketing Networkregional sales teams with regards to pricing new productsgrade perform Qualitative amp Pricing Analysis based on the same.

• Manage the Customer Satisfaction Program CSP coordinate to contact customers amp collate data then analyze same to extract maximum benefit from the information customer has provided.

• Complete the CSP circuit to ensure that concerned persons are informed regards the outcomes of the Customer Satisfaction Program and also ‘corrective actions’ are taken to reduce eliminate these areas of dissatisfaction customer grievances.

• Manage and analyze the information gathered during tradeshows exhibitions seminars. Make brief summary document and also detailed excel sheet covering all walkins at the tradeshows and recommends further participation in the same shows.

• Keep the information gathered from various sources in a systematic amp organized manner.

• Carry out detailed economic and commercial evaluation studies for the expansion of the Global network.

• Carry out specific marketing surveys to investigate company's position amp image in the market.

• Maintain all the records of approved periodic Price Guidelines and related mattersapprovals.

• Provide annual product requirement and other relevant information for the preparation of annual Operational budget.

• Assist in preparation of countrygradeproduct wise sales budgets.

• Assist the Product Manager in developingmaintain Financial Models.





Skills


Educational qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.



Experience

•Minimum 5 years’ experience in Market Research.

•Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.

•Computer literacy.
