Division or Project Summary

SNCLavalin OampM has been awarded a 10year contract to operate and maintain the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center KAPSARC project located in Riyadh Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

With a mandate to conduct highcalibre research in energy economics policy technology and the environment the KAPSARC project consists of three major components a 65000 m2 research and office complex a residential community that will accommodate approximately 1000 residents and a utility zone to serve them.

SNCLavalin will provide integrated facility and community management services to the project.



Job Description

Provides direction to a team of building technicians in the operation and maintenance of the buildings and related systems including specialist systems within the ROC building including Audio Visual Systems and Library Management Systems.



Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include But are not limited to the following



bullProvide overall supervision of contractors and technicians in the ROC Building and support facilities for specialist systems.

bullProvide technical guidance and direction to operations staff

bullCoordinate and maintain the availability of key systems within ROC for the operation of the facility.

bullEnsure the completion of scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance service to building systems as assigned

bullDevelopment of Maintenance systems including evaluation of current systems of maintenance.



Requirements

bullBachelor of Engineering Degree in MEP Electrical or Electronic Controls Specialism required.

bullCertification in the operation of Audio Visual equipment essential to success of role.

bullAudio Visual Systems support including completion of and development of maintenance programs and response systems.

bullConference Facility and Auditorium Setup a requirement of the engineer's role including sound testing and fault finding on network systems in support of the operation of the systems within the care of the role.

bullExperience of work in a multiuse facility a must to support ROC.

bullUnderstanding of the impact of the buildings built environment on the operation of key equipment.

bullContractor management for areas of scope essential to discharge duties.

bullExcellent knowledge of the operation of computerized control systems for complex operational systems
