Eaton Corporation Electrical Sector in Dammam KSA is seeking Supply Chain amp Logistics Coordinator supports the distribution transportation customer service and purchasing departments by managing and communicating operational logistics information such as shipment tracking and tracing bill of lading and shipment pro numbers shipment proof of delivery and rate quotations for all modes of transportation. The coordinator assists in resolving over short and damage problems between carriers shippers and customers by obtaining supporting documentation and filing claims when required. This position is responsible for the completion of export documentation and calculates and inputs freight charges for prepaid shipments.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



• meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract

• maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products

• liaising with other departments within the organization to ensure projects are completed

• liaising with shop personnel to ensure supply meets demand

• Place PO’s to the suppliers amp involves in expediting

• Vendor Evaluation on deliveries and performance

• Implements plans to assure orders meet specified quality and delivery times and to minimize the total cost of purchases.

• Documents performance to action plans and timelines for assigned sourcing projects.

• Establishes supplier base in conformance with guidance from Category Managers.

• Handles requests for information quotations proposals and bidding processes.

• Evaluates current and potential suppliers in coordination with Supplier Quality Teams.

• Daily coordinating with Customs broker to clear the importexport shipments.

• Daily coordination with customer service to provide transportation details such as tracking tracing freight quotes and problem resolution

• Completes required export documentation Shipper’s Export Declaration Commercial Invoices and other required customs brokerage documents

• Calculates freight charges and inputs data for invoicing

• Assists in overage short and damage claim filing

• Requests freight quotes from carriers both electronically and verbally and determines the best possible option meeting the customer expectations



Basic Qualifications Including Educational Requirements

23 years sourcing amp transportation management experience.



B.S diploma or equivalent in the related field.



Good analytical and math skills with proficiency in performing quick and accurate data entry.



Strong verbal communication skills with a diverse base of functional groups.



Comprehensive knowledge of PC based software.



Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
