Relocation Expenses No Role SummaryPurpose The Senior EngineerTechnologist demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals programs and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect shortterm and some longterm business goals. Essential Responsibilities The Senior EngineerTechnologist Provides consultation and technical direction to the engineering team on nearterm and longerrange projects with substantial business impact Remains current in the stateoftheart within own technical specialty for new product introduction activities performance improvements cost reductions and problem resolutions Supports other GE businesses and internal external customers Is responsible for compliant and highquality engineering solutions delivered to customers Configures and develops systems according to customers’ requirements and specifications Develops and implements training modules as necessary Makes recommendations after analysis of the data using quality tools Protects the Intellectual Property rights of the Company Functions as program manager when appropriate Provides technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers Participates as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews QualificationsRequirements Masters in MechanicalChemicalElectricalPetroleum Engineering 6 years of experience in NTI NPI or research projects in Oil Gas or related industries Good working knowledge of one of the following technologies electrical submersible pumps electric motors pumps expanders. Other related fields such as drilling surface software analytics may also be considered Ability to work with local remote and crosscultural teams Demonstrated ability to influence andor lead small to medium sized project teams Solid oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Fluent English language or mothertongue Ability to meet engineering schedule demands in a dynamic environment with multiple customers strong project and time management skills Experience with full product life cycle design using 3D modeling in a production environment is required Knowledge of 2D 3D stackup analysis CAD tools like Unigraphics Arabic is an additional asset for businesscustomer interaction Desir more...
