Senior Alignment Engineer Abu Dhabi

Aecom seeks to hire a Senior Alignment engineer for various projects we have in the UAE. Ideal candidates will have strong exposure in designing for major rail programs.



Duties and responsibilities



Interfaces with clients consultant team members as well as project stakeholders.

Supervise a design team direct project staff in design preparation.

Prepare alignment designs for rail projects including LRT Metro and Freight.

Utilized CAD and Rail design software such as Bentley Rail Track or AUTOCAD Civil 3D.

Prepare design in accordance with local and global codes.

Produce Preliminary and Final Design plans for construction of rail projects.

Prepare reports of alignment characteristics including justification for non standard design elements.

Check alignment design versus criteria.

Coordinate design work with other disciplines' including structural electrical systems communications.

Demonstrates judgment in anticipating and solving project conflicts.

Able to travel for work assignments.



Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of rail design experience in the railtransit industry including preparation of plans and specifications for rail projects.



Preferred Qualifications

BS in Transportation or Civil Engineering.

Strong knowledge of rail design softwares is essential.
