1 GOALS and Responsibilities 1.1 Goals of the function

• Management of the Reconditioning Engineering and Technology Group of the ALSTOM Power Service Arabia FZE Gas Turbine Reconditioning Department


• Definition of technical standards for all production related processes and tools within the Gas Turbine Reconditioning Department


• Ensuring that all technical requirements for a safe operation specified in the production documentation.


• Ensuring the technical support within the Gas Turbine Reconditioning Department


• Steering controlling and support of internal and external interfaces
  
  1.2 Key responsibilities and other responsibilities
  

  
  
  • Preparation of technical specifications documents protocols and drawings for the reconditioning portfolio
  
  
  • Preparation of technical specifications documents protocols and drawings for gas turbine rotor services
  
  
  • Optimization of production and technical sequences in the frame of costs technical risk and lead time
  
  
  • Filling in technical dispositions in the Non Conformance Report NCR system and ensuring the implementation of lessons learned
  
  
  • Identification of incoming parts without clear identification marking
  
  
  • Check and approval of metallurgical investigation reports for technical reconditionability
  
  
  • Definition of necessary repair methods for orders in the frame of quality lifetime and costs
  
  
  • Project management of technology and process development projects
  
  
  • Project management of technology and component implementation projects
  
  
  • Participation in cost reduction projects
  
  
  • Technical support of Order Coordination Production and Quality control and Assessments
  
  
  • Technical support and training of sales and marketing
  
  
  • Leading onsite reconditioning assessment projects
  
  
  • Representing the Gas Turbine Reconditioning Business at conferences
  
  
  • Ensuring the technical experience feedback and know how transfer to the Global Reconditioning Network and the technical departments of the strategic gas group of Alstom Power Service

            Qualifications
            
            

            4 Profile Requirements 4.1 Education Training

            
            

            
            
            • Master of Science MSc or Bachelor of Science BSc in mechanical engineering aerospace engineering materials science or equivalent
              
              4.2 Experience
              

              
              
              • Several years experience in gas turbine engineering or development
              
              
              • Knowledge of processes and technology in gas turbine components production andor reconditioning
              
              
              • Knowledge of common ITtools and systems
              
              
              • Knowledge of ALSTOM gas turbine components
              
              
              • Experience in project management
