QAQC Manager High rise Qatar

CLIENT

Linum Consultrsquos client is urgently seeking a QAQC Manager specialising in high rise buildings and from a contracting background to join their team on a major construction project in Qatar

RESPONSIBILITIES

bull Planning and scheduling the program of Internal Quality Audits to evaluate the status and effectiveness of the Quality Management System

bull Acting as the lead auditor to undertake audits of the subcontractors and suppliers

bull Managing the QAQC department staff including the sitebased teams

bull Reviewing approving and signing off all Project Procedures and Project Quality Plans

bull Providing technical assistancetraining to site personnel to ensure staff adhere to established procedures

bull Setting up and monitoring quality systems including Quality Control Procedures and Plans for building construction projects. Issuing Nonconformance Reports

bull Maintaining ISO certification

PROFILE

bull 1215 years of Engineering experience with a background of working on large prestigious construction projects

bull Degree qualification in CivilArchitectural Engineering or similar

bull Excellent technical knowledge of QAQC work practices and standards such as ISO ASME ANSI andor ASTM

bull Previous history of working in the Middle East and currently living in Doha with an NOC

bull Fluency in English with good leadership and communication skills
