Relocation Expenses Yes Role SummaryPurpose Sales Support Specialist within the Oil Gas Pressure Control Team plays an essential role in the growth of the PC Services and the whole GE DS business. Essential Responsibilities Responsible for all aspects of contract management including proposal development risk management and mitigation specification compliance scope development transactional pricing customer negotiations customer communications and issue resolution ⢠Review sales enquiries⢠Ensure SFDC and the Web Risk Tool are kept uptodate⢠Schedule participate and where appropriate lead kickoff meetings and tollgate reviews R0R1R2RRC⢠Distribute documents as appropriate and coordinate responses within agreed schedule⢠Issue clarifications to customers and distribute responses⢠Build cost models to cover all elements of service proposals⢠Ensure effective communication throughout proposal team and that the commercial manager is aware of any clarifications qualifications and exceptions⢠Assist with pricing strategy working with Pricing Leader and Sales⢠Compile issue proposals⢠Provide support to sales and where necessary participate in negotiations⢠Perform contract review and issue customer order acknowledgement⢠Ensure service contracts are recorded in the Commercial Contracts Database⢠Prepare and conduct handover from ITO to OTR⢠Provide accurate and timely reporting as required by customer and commercial team⢠Perform other duties as required to support commercial and marketing teams in Pressure Controls Services⢠Work with projects sales operations and finance to ensure that invoicing systems are accurately maintained and that accurate financial forecast are available. QualificationsRequirements ⢠Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or relevant business experience⢠Minimum 2 years Experience in a similar role⢠Knowledge of Drilling Production products range and services⢠Basic understanding of manufacturing systems and repairs ⢠Understanding of Professional services and maintenance for OG Production Industry⢠Experience preparing and managing proposal for services in OG industry. ⢠Experience with contract management and contractual terms⢠Effective oral and written communication⢠Excellent computing skills particularly MS ExcelVisual basic Word Powerpoint and Access Desired Characteristics ⢠more...
