With the ability to see the broader picture and work out how individual elements should operate as part of an overall aim the Planning Engineer will be responsible for numerous projects from start to finish working to plan the best and most efficient way to complete projects.



Responsibilities

bull Preparation updating of company's enterprise programme of all running amp future projects in Primavera P6

bull Review of baselines recovery and monthly updated programmes

bull Review of tender programmes during bidding phases

bull Review of Resident engineer's weekly reports

bull Generating executive summary reports for higher management

bull Follow up of issue's impacting the projects schedule

bull Maintaining a data base of projects progress

bull Monitoring and analyzing progress amp efficiency of each project and reporting to supervisors and managers

bull Ensuring extra works RFA's are incorporated in programmes

bull Updating amp maintaining the RFA logs

bull Critically analyzing projects and raising flags in case of slippage

bull Preparation of projects progress monitoring charts for graphical visualization of projects

bull Assisting supervisors and managers for board presentations and meetings

bull Assisting team and managers as needed.



Requirements

bull BEng BSc or equivalent qualification with a minimum 3 years post graduate experience

bull Chartered preferred

bull Regional experience preferred

bull Experience and proven ability to supervise projects and project team

bull Experienced user of Microsoft Office
