Business Administrator
Job Description Major ResponsibilitiesEnsure continual improvement of operational efficiencies in the planning and benchmarking activities. Prepare review and submit capital budget for the department. Provide all financial analysis and work with managers of the department to optimize cost and increase revenue. Coordination with Procurement Services University Relations Government Affairs for a smooth daytoday business. Participate in the development and monitoring of business initiatives of the division. This includes monitoring income streams human resources assets information technology and marketing opportunities. Analyze surveys and customer feedback to ensure that all services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner and are in compliance with deadlines specifications and sustainability. Assist in contract development and negotiations. Align the different events in the community with other university organizations to avoid time conflict. Support the Community Director with the development of a Community Awareness Engagement programs. Identify strategic partnerships with local or international companies to support KAUST with its events and activities sponsorship program. Work with the managers of the department and analyze trends in the community to ensure a proactive approach to resolve any potential areas of concern to the residents or the delivery of the services. Work closely with the managers of the department to establish KPI’s for the different services and monitor progress. Ensure implementation of Health Safety and Quality Environmental Policies within the area. Other tasks as requested by the Director and Managers in Community Services Department. Technical SkillsProblem solving and decision making. Strong analytical abilities. Computer literacy and proficiency in database spreadsheet and MS Office applications and an ability to learn and work with various KAUST software systems. Able to research information organize coordinate and solve problems and willing to work extra hours when necessary.NonTechnical Skills or AttributesStrong interpersonal and communications skills along with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels. A flexible approach to work and ability to define issues propose good solutions and implement changes effectively. Ability to work independently handle multiple and complex tasks and prioritize ongoing and new work assignments while working in a fastpaced and demanding environment. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with University and contractor staff. Effective verbal and written communications skills. Able to work with minimal guidance handle multiple tasks and prioritize work assignments in a busy office environment. Maturity effective interpersonal relations.Required EducationBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar major.Required ExperienceMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience of which 3 years should have been in a similar role.
